[학생취업처] 2025 믹타 청년 대화(MIKTA Youth Dialogue) 참가자 선발 안내(교외)

외교부는 믹타(MIKTA) 및 소다자 외교에 관심있는 믹타 회원국 대학(원)생을 대상으로 「2025 믹타 청년 대화(2025 MIKTA Youth Dialogue)*」를 아래와 같이 개최할 예정입니다.

* 2024년에는 '믹타 영 리더스 캠프(MIKTA Young Leader's Camp)' 명칭으로 진행

※ 믹타(MIKTA) : 2013.9월 출범한 멕시코(Mexico), 한국(Korea), 인도네시아(Indonesia), 튀르키예(T?rkiye), 호주(Australia) 5개국으로 구성된 소다자 협의체로 주요 글로벌 이슈 해결에 건설적인 기여를 하는 것을 목표로 활동 중

가. 행사 개요

ㅇ 일시 및 장소 : 2025.7.23.(수)-25.(금), 서울 등

※ 비숙박 형식으로 진행되며, 지방 및 해외 참가자에 한해 숙박 제공

ㅇ 참석 대상 : 국제관계 및 소다자 외교에 관심있는 믹타 회원국 대학(원)생 총 30명 (회의, 토론 및 발표 등 행사 전체 영어로 진행)

ㅇ 개최 목적 : △믹타 및 소다자 외교에 대한 이해 제고, △믹타 회원국내 차세대 리더 간 유대 증진, △글로벌 이슈에 대한 믹타의 협력 방안 모색

ㅇ 행사 주제 : 믹타 협력 성과 및 발전 방향, 신기술과 국제평화 증진, 글로벌 이슈에 대한 청년 참여 확대 등(구체 의제 변동 가능)

나. 주요 프로그램(세부 일정 변동 가능)

ㅇ 1일차 : △발대식, △전문가 초청 강연, △환영 리셉션

ㅇ 2일차 : △믹타 모의 고위관리회의(SOM) 및 믹타 모의 외교장관회의, △주한외교단과의 소통행사

ㅇ 3일차 : △수료식 및 시상, △국내 주요시설 탐방

다. 참가자 모집

ㅇ 서류 접수 : 행사 사무국 이메일(mikta.youthdialogue@gmail.com)로 6.1.(일)까지 신청

ㅇ 면접 진행 : 서류 합격자 대상으로 6.12.(금)-13.(토) 간 실시

ㅇ 최종 합격자 발표 : 6.18.(수) 개별 통보

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will host the “2025 MIKTA Youth Dialogue” as outlined below, targeting university and graduate students from MIKTA member countries who are interested in MIKTA and minilateral diplomacy.

In 2024, this event was held under the name “MIKTA Young Leader’s Camp.”

※ MIKTA: A consultative mechanism launched in September 2013, comprising Mexico, Indonesia, Korea, Türkiye, and Australia. It aims to make constructive contributions to the resolution of major global issues.

1. Event Overview

Date & Venue:
July 23 (Wed) – 25 (Fri), 2025, in Seoul and surrounding areas
※ The program will be conducted in a non-residential format. Accommodation will be provided only for participants from outside Seoul or from overseas.
Eligible Participants:
A total of 30 university or graduate students from MIKTA member countries who are interested in international relations and minilateral diplomacy
※ All sessions (meetings, discussions, presentations, etc.) will be conducted in English.
Purpose of the Event:
- To enhance understanding of MIKTA and minilateral diplomacy
- To strengthen ties among next-generation leaders within MIKTA member countries
- To explore avenues for MIKTA cooperation in addressing global challenges
Themes (subject to change):
- Achievements and future direction of MIKTA cooperation
- New technologies and the promotion of international peace
- Enhancing youth participation in addressing global issues

2. Main Program (Subject to change)

Day 1:
- Opening Ceremony
- Keynote Lectures by Experts
- Welcome Reception
Day 2:
- Mock Senior Officials’ Meeting (SOM) and Mock Foreign Ministers’ Meeting
- Networking Event with Foreign Diplomatic Missions in Korea
Day 3:
- Closing Ceremony and Award Presentation
- Field Trips to Major Institutions in Korea

3. Application

Document Submission:
Apply via email to the event secretariat at mikta.youthdialogue@gmail.com by June 1 (Sun)
Interview:
Interviews will be conducted for shortlisted applicants on June 12 (Fri) – 13 (Sat)
Final Selection Announcement:
June 18 (Wed) – Successful applicants will be notified individually
